The Sakura Awards are one of the most important events in the wine and sparkling wine sector in Asia conducted by a total of 430 judges, all women in the Japanese wine industry. In the 9th edition of these awards granted by Japan Women's Wine, Vallformosa has once again stood out, obtaining 3 GOLD and 1 SILVER medals.

Specifically, the winners have been three cava and a still wine: Masia Freyé Parellada/Muscat, a floral, fresh and fruity white wine with an elegant and persistent finish that has won over the jury.

Regarding the cava, the gold medals have gone to Proa Brut and our newest product launch Gran Barón Icónico, while MVSA Semiseco has won the silver medal.

This is a new push for Vallformosa wines and sparkling that, little by little, but steadily, are making their way into the Asian market, with more and more references and brands taking the stand. 🥂
