    How should a sparkling wine be stored to maintain its quality?

    Sparkling wine should be stored in a cool, dark place without sudden changes in temperature. Ideally, it should be stored horizontally, at a constant temperature of between 10 and 15°C, so that the cork remains moist, and the freshness of the bubbles is preserved.

    How long can I store a sparkling wine before opening it?

    Vallformosa products are made to be uncorked, not to be stored, but… A sparkling wine can be stored for between 1 and 3 years, depending on the kind. The un-aged sparkling wines, such as the young Brut, are ideal to be consumed within the first year to enjoy their freshness. Longer-aged sparkling wines, such as Reservas or Gran Reservas, can be kept for up to 3 years or more without losing quality.

    Are the products vegan or do they contain animal ingredients?

    100% of our products are suitable for vegans, as we do not use animal ingredients in their production.

    What is the difference between a sparkling wine and a still wine?

    The main difference is that sparkling wine contains bubbles, produced by the carbon dioxide generated during fermentation, while still wine has no gasification. In addition, the process of making sparkling wine includes a second fermentation, which gives it its effervescent character.

    What should I do if my order arrives damaged or wrong?

    From the day of delivery, you have 5 calendar days to send us an email to ecommerce@vallformosa.com explaining what happened and photos of the damaged product. From here, as soon as we can, we will give you an answer and a solution.

    No. We don’t currently offer any finance or installment options. All of our products must be paid for in full at the moment of purchase.
