Explore the sophistication of Freyé Syrah-Tempranillo, a handcrafted wine from harvest to fermentation and ageing in oak barrels. Residual sugar: 2,5 g/L
Harvest: Carried out manually, the harvest of Syrah grapes takes place in mid-September, while the Tempranillo variety is harvested at the beginning of that month.
Fermentation: Cold pre-fermentation maceration is carried out, followed by a total maceration of 14 days at a temperature of 25ºC in stainless steel tanks, to extract color, sweet tannins, and aromas that contribute to the complexity of the wine.
Aging: After fermentation, the wine ages for 5 months in oak barrels.
View: Exhibits a cherry red color with a medium-high purple hue.
Aromas: Fresh notes of clove, cherry, plum, and floral nuances of violet from the Syrah, along with notes of red fruit and liquorice from the Tempranillo, with subtle toasted notes from the barrel.
Taste: It presents itself as a compact and mature wine, where the sweet sensations of well-ripe tannins predominate. The vegetal memory lingers in the finish.
Harmonizes exceptionally well with a wide range of meats, from chicken to sirloin, stews, and grilled meats. It is also a wise choice to accompany pizzas with meaty ingredients and creamy cheeses.
